Meet Dr. Pavlov

Dr. Anna Pavlov is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon who recently joined Aesthetic Surgery Center Gulfport. Raised in Ocean Springs, she grew up in a family dedicated to the health and well-being of the Mississippi Gulf Coast community. Her father, Dr. Paul Pavlov, is a family physician in practice for over 30 years in St. Martin and her mother, Theresa Pavlov, was the former program director and executive director of the St. Vincent de Paul Community Pharmacy in Biloxi. Through their guiding influence, Dr. Pavlov was brought up with a passion for caring for the people of the Coast. After completing residency training at UNC Chapel Hill, Dr. Pavlov chose to move back to Mississippi to provide care for the community she loves. Her primary areas of interest are breast reconstruction and body contouring after pregnancy or weight loss. Her outpatient surgery locations are in Biloxi and Gulfport.

Dr. Pavlov is a board-certified plastic surgeon. She attended high school at Mercy Cross in Biloxi, graduating in 2006. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame in 2010 and received her masters degree from Mississippi College in 2011, graduating summa cum laude. She graduated from medical school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2015 and was selected for AOA and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Societies. She completed her plastic surgery residency at the University of North Carolina in 2021. She was chief resident from 2020-2021 and designed the educational curriculum for the entire plastic surgery program. She received her board certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 2022. 

In her free time, Dr. Pavlov enjoys boating with her family, reading, catching up on the latest movies and TV shows, and attending live performances. Whether it’s concerts, musicals, plays, or symphonies, she is always game. You can often catch her at the Saenger Theater or the Orpheum. She enjoys both college football and NFL – she roots for the Fighting Irish and the Saints. She is also a fan of UNC Tarheel basketball. Dr. Pavlov is an avid animal lover and has adopted two dogs and four cats (she is often tempted to adopt more!). She is a parishioner at St. James Catholic Church in Gulfport.
